The official VRChat Worlds Gallery for Venice Immersive. Worldbuild built it three years running, with Mike Salmon and the festival curators.
83rd Venice Film Festival
The same job, three years.
Venice Immersive is the VR and AR strand of the Venice International Film Festival. In 2026 the section turned ten.
Worldbuild built the Worlds Gallery with Mike "Manglebird" Salmon and curators Liz Rosenthal and Michel Reilhac of MetaVerse Crew. Wayfinding, the featured worlds, and a public room that still has to open when the crowd arrives.
- 2026
- The 83rd edition. The hub had logged more than 40,000 visits by October 2026, and the counter was still climbing.
- 2025
- The 82nd edition. That hub had logged more than 52,000 visits by October 2026.
- 2024
- The first of the three commissions. That hub's public counter also read more than 52,000 visits.
- Counts
- Visit numbers are from vrcw.net, read for the expedition notes in October 2026.

What the commission is
A booth is a claim. The gallery has to hold people.
The gallery has to take a crowd, point them the right way, and still open after the Lido closes.
A selection with no shared map fails. A pretty room with no limit on how many people can enter fails harder.
Press only counts if the world ID still opens.

Each edition is its own world. The 2026 hub is the one to open first.
