A live theatre piece inside the hand-drawn world of Strangeways. Echo has withdrawn. Zephyr asks the audience to go in.
The Crossing, inaugural show, 2026
Echo has gone into the drawings.
Echo, a neurodivergent artist, has withdrawn into Strangeways. Zephyr, their closest friend, cannot reach them alone, and asks the audience to enter.
Each room is a memory, a defence, a fear, or a way of coping. Ferryman's page says the audience does not change Echo. They help Echo change how Echo sees themself.

- Where
- VRChat, with a ticket and a headset. A YouTube stream comes with the ticket, by email.

The world they played in
Worldbuild's credit
The world, not the play.
Dale P. Deacon built Strangeways with Alex Bosman for Shtik XR.
That world was in competition at Venice Immersive 2024, and a Raindance Immersive Best Art World nominee.
The poster calls this a theatrical lab production, written and directed by Tanvi Agrawal, with Ferryman Collective and Shtik Studios. Eventbrite names the collaborator Shtik XR.

The record
The October 2026 run is over. The show page, and the world it used, are what stay public.
To talk to Worldbuild about the world, write to Dale. Press for the play still goes to Ferryman.
