Venice City
The real Venice, life-size, on foot.
A geographically accurate Venice you can walk in VRChat, built from OpenStreetMap data. It covers the six main sestieri: San Marco, San Polo, Santa Croce, Cannaregio, Dorsoduro and Castello. The first version runs from San Marco to the Rialto.

The problem
You can't get to know Venice from photos.
Venice is a maze of canals, bridges and alleys. Pictures show you the Rialto and San Marco, but not how one leads to the other, or how the city feels at walking pace.
A world built around a handful of famous landmarks can't give you that either. Most of Venice is the bits in between.
Venice City is generated from real map data at real size, so the streets, canals and squares are where they actually are, and you can walk from one end to the other.
The whole city, to scale
One world for the six main islands, built from OpenStreetMap data and our own meshes, so it stays true to the real map.
Landmarks done properly
About ten hero landmarks, such as Piazza San Marco, the Basilica, the Campanile and the Rialto Bridge, are modelled one by one. Streets near every walkable path get full detail.
Water that looks like water
RED_SIM water on PC, with a simpler version on mobile.
PC first, then everywhere
PC and PCVR get the full build. Quest, Android and iOS get the same world scaled down from the same generator.
Be first in.
