DeezPDF Reader

A calm PDF library that stays on your device.

Read PDFs page by page like a Kindle. Swipe or use the arrow keys, and it remembers where you stopped. No account, no cloud upload. Free and open source.

One email when it launches. No spam.

The problem

Reading a PDF shouldn't mean uploading it somewhere.

Most of us have a pile of PDFs: manuals, papers, old books, things someone sent you. They end up scattered across Downloads, email and a couple of cloud drives, and you lose your place every time you close one.

The usual options are a browser tab that forgets everything, or an app that wants an account and wants your files on its servers. Neither is great for a long read, and neither is great if the file is private.

DeezPDF keeps a local library on your device, opens one page at a time like an e-reader, and saves your spot automatically. Nothing gets uploaded.

  • A local library

Add PDFs or a whole folder, or download one from a direct link. They're stored on your device and work offline.

  • Page by page

Swipe on a phone or use the arrow keys on a computer. Your reading position is saved and restored when you reopen a file.

  • Search, filter, sort

Find a title fast, filter by unread, in progress or finished, and sort by what you opened last.

  • Find free books

Look up public-domain titles on Internet Archive and Project Gutenberg and add them straight to your library.

Be first in.

Leave your email and we'll tell you the day DeezPDF Reader goes live.
