GoEast
A bathhouse in VRChat for goEast's Cinema Archipelago. The 2022 edition was Tales from the Bathhouse. The hall came back in 2023.
Wiesbaden, 2022–2023
The festival needed a shared place.
Worldbuild delivered digital art, worldbuilding, and production for goEast Film Festival's XR programme, with goEast, DFF, and Georgy Molodtsov.
In 2022, Tales from the Bathhouse rebuilt the Kaiser Friedrich Spa in VRChat around three new works, including Bloodbath. In 2023 the venue returned with three new projects and updated versions of the previous year's works.

What it had to prove
A strand is a place, not only a list of works.
A festival XR programme needs orientation and atmosphere, and a record that outlives the physical screening room.
The bathhouse is that room. The individual works keep their own makers. Bloodbath later received the Spirit of Raindance award.
