Mormoverse: Under The Pillow

Under The Pillow invites visitors into Mormitten's nightly quest for lost sibling treasures inside an old couch — a narrative VRChat world directed by Georgy Molodtsov (Film XR) from a story adapted across film, game, and social VR. It won Best Immersive Narrative at Raindance Immersive 2023 and appeared in Venice Immersive Best of VRChat programming.

Role

VR worldbuilding and production lead by Dale Deacon alongside Georgy Molodtsov, Vlad Maleev, and Film XR.

What it tests

Immersive narrative often defaults to headset isolation. Mormoverse asks whether a shared world can carry family-friendly story with the same emotional clarity as a short film — orientation, waypoints, and social co-presence without flattening plot into a tunnel ride.
